Privacy Policy

Lifetick app

// last updated:

Lifetick is a personal life logger. Everything you log stays on your device. This policy explains the little that leaves it, and why.

01. Your Logs Stay on Your Device

Lifetick has no account, no sign-in and no server of ours. Every event you log, every event type, goal, reminder and profile is stored only in the app's own storage on your device.

Widgets, Lock Screen timers and Siri shortcuts read the same on-device storage through a private app group shared only between Lifetick and its own extensions.

Deleting the app deletes all of its data.

02. Apple Health (optional)

If you choose to import from Apple Health, Lifetick reads your workouts, sleep and water intake from the last 30 days and saves them as entries on your device.

Lifetick never writes to Apple Health and never sends Health data anywhere.

You can revoke access at any time in the Health app → Sharing → Apps.

03. Advertising — Google AdMob

Lifetick is free. It shows a single small banner at the bottom of its Settings screen, served by Google AdMob. There are no ads anywhere else in the app.

To serve that banner, the Google Mobile Ads SDK may collect your device advertising identifier, basic interaction data about the ad, and crash/performance diagnostics. This is handled by Google, not by us — see https://policies.google.com/privacy and https://policies.google.com/technologies/ads

Your logs, goals, reminders and Health data are never used for advertising and are never sent to Google.

04. App Tracking Transparency (iOS)

Before any ad loads, Lifetick shows a short explanation and then Apple's tracking permission prompt. If you decline, ads are non-personalised and the app works exactly the same.

You can change your choice at any time in Settings → Privacy & Security → Tracking.

On Android you can reset or delete your advertising ID in the system settings.

05. Notifications and Alarms

Reminders are local notifications scheduled on your device. Nothing is sent through a push server.

Reminders you mark as alarms use AlarmKit (iOS 26 and later) so they ring through Silent mode, the same way the Clock app does.

06. The Assistant

Lifetick's assistant learns your rhythm entirely on your device — the small model is trained and stored locally. Nothing about your habits is uploaded.

On devices that support Apple Intelligence, the assistant may rephrase its own reminder text using Apple's on-device model. That also happens on your device.

07. Changes to This Policy

We may update this policy from time to time. The date at the top of this page reflects the latest revision. Continued use of the app after changes constitutes acceptance of the updated policy.

08. License Agreement (EULA)

This app is subject to Apple's Standard End User License Agreement (EULA).

You can review it at https://www.apple.com/legal/internet-services/itunes/dev/stdeula/
